About Us
After a thorough makeover, The Acorn reopened in August 2023. It's the perfect spot for enjoying a peaceful drink in the terraced garden with friends, catching live sports or music on the weekends, savoring a freshly cooked meal with family or colleagues, or simply unwinding alone with your favourite drink.
Whatever your preference, The Acorn is always ready to welcome you.
Beers
Our selection of Keg beers spans from Continental Lagers to London Craft Beers, and includes delightful pints of Guinness, ensuring a choice for every palate. Additionally, we serve quality conditioned Cask Ales from two handpulls; one dedicated to our House Bitter, and the other featuring a rotating guest ale, providing our guests who enjoy variety in their Cask Ale with an ever-changing option.
Spirits
We also stock a quality range of Spirits which includes Irish & Scotch Whiskies, a wide choice of Gins, Rums & Liqueurs. Our wine list has been carefully selected in conjunction with our specialist suppliers to ensure that we always have a quality selection of wines to cater to all tastes.
Cocktails
Working with our partners at Edmunds, we are also excited to offer a range of delicious Premium cocktails including Passionfruit Martini, Strawberry Daiquiri, Mojito, Old Fashioned & Espresso Martini.
Food
We're excited to launch our new menu which has all your favourites cooked fresh in house by our talented Chefs. Whether you're in the mood for a Pizza, Burgers, our delicious Cod & Chips, Chef's Seafood Linguine or even a classic Ham, Egg & Chips, we have you covered. We are also serving a selection of delicious Roasts all day on Sundays, including Kids Roasts for the little ones.

Christmas is fast approaching and where better to celebrate with friends, family & colleagues during the festive season than the most stylist pub in Barking - The Acorn!
We have a delicious pre-booked set menu which will be running between 25th Nov & 24th Dec so that you can enjoy some high quality Festive fare while celebrating those Christmas Parties with friends, family & colleagues. As always, we'll have lots of entertainment on offer in the run up to Christmas so you'll all be able to celebrate in style over the Festive Period!

The Acorn pub in Barking is your ideal destination to relish a variety of sporting events on our six UHD screens. With both Sky & TNT (formerly BT Sports) at our disposal, we've got you covered, be it the Premier League, the Championship, the 6 Nations, Cheltenham Festival, the UEFA Champions League, or the latest Heavyweight Title Fight.
